The Guidon Foundation

What we do

Our Programs

Distinct populations. Distinct needs. One foundation of discipline, faith, service, and the refusal to leave anyone behind.

Veterans & first responders

RONIN Leadership Activation

RONIN Leadership Activation is a structured re-entry into purpose for those who have already served. Three paths: Rally — join an existing service organization and amplify it. Build — start your own. Plant — deploy the Service Leadership Academy curriculum in your community and teach the next generation. Designed by veterans and first responders, for veterans and first responders.

Rising high-school seniors

Service Leadership Academy

Four phases: Foundations, People, Practice, and a Community Leadership Project. SLA forms young Americans of character before they leave home — grounded in faith, disciplined in execution, and ready to lead. Many of our instructors are RONIN graduates passing the torch to the next generation.

Gold Star families & survivors

Family & Survivor Support

Loss does not end with the funeral. Our family and survivor support program walks with Gold Star families and the families of fallen first responders — offering presence, practical help, and connection to a community that will not forget.

04

Transitioning service members

Military Transition & TAP Engagement

Working alongside the DoD Transition Assistance Program (TAP), we provide additional mentorship, mission, and connection so service members do not land in civilian life alone. Identity does not end at separation — purpose continues.

Upcoming

Guidon Range Day

Twenty-two veterans take their own lives every day in America. The Guidon Range Day is our annual fundraiser — disciplined marksmanship, shared purpose, and direct funding for the programs that intervene before the worst day arrives.
